Idea...

While "pinning" last night the thought occurred to me that I pin things that interest me but may not actually go to the blog and read about it or follow thru.

So the plan is actually a lot like Julie and Julia - I will find a pin that I have already pinned in hopes to do (ie: organize the house or being more frugal at the grocery) and do it! Not only will I finally do something I pinned but I will blog about it and I will see if the advice works for me or not, or more accurately if I am able to keep with it.

I will also interject my own spin on things, and change it up from time to time with fresh ideas of my own!

Inspired

I am excited to start this blog - it makes me think of Julie and Julia (great movie)! I don't plan to cook my way through a Julia cookbook, but you never know I may just have to try a few of those recipes. I do plan to inspire and motivate home cooking - a little old fashioned and traditional mixed with a healthy twist.

I really enjoy "pining" I mean who doesn't!

I was looking for some kind of potato recipe idea (something new/different) but I didn't find anything I wanted to make. SO I just threw some yummy things (potato, garlic & onion) together and it was a hit! It  got me thinking about blogging my own recipes, crafts and other things that I like to create.

At the end of the day I really enjoy sharing my new ideas with family and friends - so I look forward to making so many more new friends that enjoy some of the same thing.
